Job Title: Assistant Principal

Job Description: JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Principal will supervise all components of the student programs, including the general supervision of the Instructional Assistant staff; manage reports of student misconduct cases that require disciplinary action to ensure recommendations comply with Western Montgomery CTC policies; advise students; assist in the administration of policies and procedures to achieve educational goals. He/She will also serve as a liaison between the sending school staff and administration and will conduct annual meetings to discuss relevant issues related to student discipline and attendance. He or she will also serve as a community liaison as needed and supervise non-certificated staff members as assigned by the Director. The Assistant Principal is responsible for conducting regular observations of the teaching staff. Duties include assisting the teaching staff with student supervision and, in cooperation with the Principal, facilitating the work of occupational and support professional staff to meet students’ needs. The Assistant Principal will also be responsible for helping instructors with curriculum development and teaching strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
PA Secondary Principal’s Certification/Vocational Education Supervisory Certification
Previous experience in vocational education is desired.
Demonstrated success in school administration.
Master’s degree preferred.
Proper Pennsylvania administrative certification.
Submission of pre-employment medical examination (Section 148 of the Pennsylvania School Code).
Submission of a report of criminal history record from the Pennsylvania State Police (Section 111 of the Pennsylvania School Code) Non-residents and Pennsylvania residents who have not resided in the Commonwealth for at least two years prior to the date of application for employment are required to obtain an FBI Criminal History Record.
Submission of a clearance report from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare in accordance with Act 151 of 1994.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Joint Operating Committee (JOC) may find appropriate and acceptable.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Full-time, 10-month employee.
Salary Range: $95,000 to $105,000 based on experience.

Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning (HVAC) Instructor

(1.0) Position available for the 2025/2026 school year. The position includes delivering instruction to high school students using the Program of Study Task Grid for Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning (CIP: 47.0201)
QUALIFICATIONS
-
4+ years of wage-earning experience in the HVAC field to include 8000+ documented hours over the past 10 years.

Individual must have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate high school students.

The successful candidate must complete PDE-required college course work & certification process if not already certified.

Clearances for Acts 34, 151, and 114 will be required before hiring.

Position: Collision Repair Instructor
Position includes delivering instruction to high school aged students using the PDE approved Duty and Task Sheet for CIP 47.0603 Autobody/Collision and Repair Technology/Technician
Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years verifiable (8,000 hours) work experience in the trade field; previous teaching experience preferred but not required.

Willingness to pursue and maintain industry-recognized credentials and/or certification, including participation in technical seminars, workshops, and classes related to the occupation.

Willingness to pursue teaching certification and professional development activities to enhance the program as well as self.

Possess excellent communication skills.

Ability to work with high school age students.

Position: Instructional Assistant
Rate: $17.50/hr
Type: Full-Time 10-month, 7 hours per day
Hours: 7:00 am - 2:30 pm or 7:30 am - 3:00 pm with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch

Description: The Instructional Assistant supports the learning process of students by assisting program teachers and student success coordinators in a variety of instructional areas. Provides direct support to a classroom teacher by assisting with student instruction, managing classroom activities, preparing materials, working with individual or small groups of students, and maintaining a positive learning environment, all under the teacher's supervision.
Specific Requirements: The qualified candidate must possess a high school diploma. College degree preferred.

Varied shift work at the Western Montgomery Career & Technology Center in Limerick, PA. Duties include general facility cleaning/maintenance tasks, preparing the facility for activities, seasonal outside maintenance. Must possess current valid Pennsylvania drivers’ license.
