     Principal's Message

     WMCTC Students,

I am proud and excited to begin my first year as your principal.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and beginning the process of leading you this school year.  I want you to know that my door is always open for you.  Your voice and perspective are important to me.   As your principal, I hope to earn your trust and to be someone that you can count on to do what is right for you and for the school.  You will always be respected by me and in turn I expect the same from you.

It is an exciting time to be involved in Career and Technical Education.  As students at WMCTC, you are presented with a multitude of opportunities.  You can earn industry certifications, college credit, contacts within your career and job experience right here in our building.  That in itself is outstanding, but not the only opportunity that you have here.  You have the chance to learn from industry experts who care very much about you and your education.  In speaking with your teachers, you and your talent is the first thing that is brought up.  Take advantage of the fact that you are learning from some of the best and that you are giving yourself a leg up against the people that you will one day compete against for a job.

The four years you will spend here can truly set you up for the rest of your life.  I will do whatever it takes to ensure that your educational experience is maximized.  Do your part and make an investment in yourself; learn about your industry, make as many contacts as you can, join a CTSO, win a national competition and obtain employment so that you are being paid while earning your education.  If you make the choice to put that down payment on your future, you will not regret it.

Let's have a great year together.  What starts here changes your world.

    Sincerely,

     Mr. Chominski
