• Welcome 

    The Heating, Ventilating, & Air Conditioning program provides knowledge and skills training in HVAC safety, electrical controls for heating and air conditioning equipment, the refrigeration process as it applies to air conditioning, gas, and oil heating systems, air distribution system installation using metal and duct board materials, the installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of air conditioners, heat pumps, hydronic and warm air heating systems.  The student will also learn pipe fitting, soldering, and brazing of the different types of piping materials.  All basic hand tools, power tools, and HVAC-related tools will be used on a regular basis to introduce the student to the proper usage of each tool.   The combination of lab practice and theory prepares students for employment and advancement in today’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. Students entering this program should have a basic mechanical aptitude, be able to move heavy objects, be self-motivated, and a self-starter.
