The Health Science Technology program consists of three components: Introduction to Health Care and Careers, Nursing Assistant Preparation (NA), and Medical Assistant (MA). This program is a demanding instructional program geared toward the student pursuing a career in the medical field. Students have the opportunity to gain entry-level skills required for employment in the Health Care Field. This program provides a combination of classroom theory and hands-on healthcare experience working with patients in skilled nursing facilities, hospital volunteering, and community daycare participation.
