Computer Information Systems (CIP 11.0901)
The Computer Systems Networking program is an instructional program that focuses on the design, implementation, and management of linked systems of computers, peripherals, and associated software and prepares individuals with the technical skills required to support networks and network users. This program includes instruction in LAN/WAN technologies and standards: system messaging services, network management, troubleshooting, and server optimization. The program consists of a list of PDE-required tasks and additional local or value-added tasks.
