Uniform, Materials, & Health Requirements

    DRESS REQUIREMENTS:

    Students will be required to wear uniforms in the classroom and for all site visits. Students must purchase charcoal grey scrubs and are expected to be in uniform and appropriate shoes daily (we will discuss the acceptable type of shoes during the first week of school).

    Students may purchase scrubs from WMCTC's Official Uniform Site or a uniform store of their choice, i.e., Walmart or Uniform Outlet.

    MATERIALS:

    The required lab book fee is $5.00, payable to WMCTC.

    HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:

    DUE TO COVID 19, THE CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW WILL BE DISCUSSED DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL.

    Students must also provide documentation of updated immunizations, a 2-step PPD (tuberculosis screening), receive an influenza vaccination, and complete a criminal background check (free online).

    A urine drug screening will be required later through Phoenixville Hospital at no cost to the student. A child abuse clearance may be required if over the age of 18 before starting a clinical clinic ($10.00 online). These requirements depend on the policy of the clinical setting we may be utilizing. Please complete the above except for the drug screening before the first day of school.
