3 Students win Medals at State HOSA Competition, Advance to Nationals

Congratulations to all of our WMCTC HOSA State Leadership Conference competitors and delegates!


Health Occupations Students of America, HOSA, is a national student-led organization consisting of over 145,000 members who are interested in a health care profession. The organization is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and members are from both secondary and postsecondary/collegiate institutions. “The purpose of the HOSA organization is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program.” 

Eleven WMCTC students competed in competitions or participated as a delegate at the annual State Leadership Conference on March 11, 2015- March 13, 2015 in Lancaster, PA. Three ambitious and talented students won medals in their state competitive event and have advanced to the 38th Annual National Leadership Conference later this year.
